The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) is a federally funded program that assists migrant and seasonal farmworkers and persons working in agriculturally related activities pursue higher education. The program specifically assists first-time freshmen at Aims Community College, Fort Lupton campus. The purpose of CAMP is to address the education and social development of low income and first generation college migrant students. CAMP provides first-year academic, personal, and financial support to ensure successful completion of the student’s first year of college, continued enrollment, and eventual graduation from college. |

Who qualifies for the program? |
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
|
|
|
Any migrant or seasonal employed agricultural worker or their children. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Or persons who: |

|
|
|

|
|

|
|
|
|
• Within the last 24 months have worked a minimum of 75 days in farmwork or agricultural related work; |

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

• Been eligible to participate or have participated in a migrant education program under Chapter 1-Migrant Education program; and |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
• Participated in or eligible to participate in NFJP/WIA Section 167 |

|
|
|
|
|
